OnTrak Rigging/Logging Platforms
OnTrak™ is a platform of on-drill measurement and on-drill logging tools designed to collect real-time downhole data during oil drilling to help optimize borehole trajectory, formation evaluation and drilling efficiency. The platform integrates multiple measurement functions with real-time data transmission as a core benefit for a wide range of applications in directional and horizontal wells and complex formations.
-
dominance:
- For formation evaluation, natural gamma and resistivity logging are the most basic logging parameters
What it means to the customer:
- Measurement and control of borehole trajectories
- Determination of reservoir hydrocarbon reserves
- Accurate characterization of reservoir physical parameters accurately assists the client in evaluating their investment
- Logging with drilling reduces the effects of mud intrusion and is therefore more accurate than conventional cable logging
- Reduced non-productive time, logging while drilling
Implications for the Baker Hughes Drilling System:
- An integral part of an openhole data acquisition system
- There is no alternative to OnTrak: the downhole LWD toolset “Command”
- Provides critical measurements for deeper reservoir understanding
- Tools Self-diagnostic data integrity
specificities:
- Well inclination and azimuth measurements
- Rotational azimuth measurements
- Double gamma/average gamma 8 sector azimuthal gamma imaging
- Measurement of vibration/stick-slip, bottoming out rotational speed
Overall sensor design:
- High reliability
- Built-in for all components
MPR technology:
- 2 MHz and 400 kHz
- 4-channel dual-receiver architecture
- Acquisition of 8-bar compensation resistivity
Circumferential pressure (ECD):
- Optional battery ensures that the pump can be stopped for pressure measurement
-
norm:
- Temperature = 150oC (175oC optional)
- Pressure
level = 30,000 psi max
Tools/borehole size:
- 4 ¾”(5 ¾” – 6 ¾”)
- 6 ¾”( 8 3/8” – 9 7/8”)
- 8 ¼” (10 5/8” – 12 ¼”)
- 9 ½” (12 ¼” – 26”)
