The surface system platform consists of a surface data acquisition and processing system, a wellsite sensor set, and a driller's display DDU. The whole ground system is installed in a skid-mounted workroom. The workroom is equipped with positive pressure explosion-proof, UPS power management with gas detection and alarm function, shock-absorbing rack-mounted ground processing system, and dual-configuration back-up (EPU+IPC+power supply). The Drilog&Welleader ground system consists of the workshop, the sensors, the EPU data acquisition system and the data processing software system.

IDEAS data acquisition and processing software

IDEAS (Integrated Drilling Evaluation and Administration System) is a collection of all the functional software of ground system, and its scope of use includes: entry and management of engineering data; information management of instruments and ground test; acquisition, processing, storage and export of test data; and compilation of operation report, etc. It covers the whole process of logging operation with drilling and directional drilling operation. It covers the whole process of logging and directional drilling operations. IDEAS software mainly includes five functional groups: project management, instrument management, real-time operation, data processing, and plotting report.

EGPS Logging Interpretation Software

EGPS logging data processing software system is a comprehensive application software platform for logging data processing and interpretation and evaluation independently developed by CNOOC . The system is designed in accordance with the concept of multi-layer technology architecture and componentized design, and it realizes the functions of processing and interpretation of drilling logging and real-time evaluation of stratigraphy.

EGPS system consists of platform functions such as data management, data format conversion, logging graphic interaction, statistical graph analysis, longitudinal graph layout printing and general pre-processing, as well as application functions such as gamma resistivity, neutron density and sonic logging data processing . With the specificities of convenient operation and flexible customization, as well as good openness and extensibility, EGPS can be used for rapid on-site interpretation and comprehensive analysis and evaluation of logging data.

WPS Geosteering Software

WPS (Well Placement Services) software is the real-time geosteering software accompanying DWPR , a CNAG drilling tool , which provides comprehensive geosteering functions such as real-time drilling inversion, azimuthal imaging interpretation, multi-well stratigraphic comparison, and 3D tectonic display, etc . It is suitable for geosteering in large inclined wells and horizontal wells.

WPS provides real-time geosteering and post-drilling logging interpretation of large inclined and horizontal wells through a user-friendly human-machine interface , thus obtaining optimal well placement and accurate physical analysis of the formation, and ultimately maximizing the production capacity of the well. WPS is designed under the framework of large gradient wells and horizontal wells, and it is easy to utilize the logging curves of multiple wells for correlation interpretation to achieve the best geosteering effect.

WPS software is used for pre-drilling feasibility studies and data acquisition, efficient real-time geosteering, and post-drilling data interpretation and reservoir evaluation. WPS enables forward modeling of all LWD logging tools from all oil service companies, as well as high-end active geosteering based on real-time inversion of the probe edge.
